Smart Substation
System Overview
The next-generation, independently controllable smart substation solution is guided by the core principles of “independence and controllability, safety and reliability, advanced applicability, and intensive efficiency.” Building on and further developing existing expertise in the design, construction, and operation of smart substations, it achieves comprehensive domestic self-reliance across the entire value chain—from chips to protocols—while integrating and optimizing secondary equipment, upgrading the network architecture, and pioneering an innovative backend platform–app model. This enhances the intrinsic safety performance of the power grid and accelerates the green, low-carbon transformation of the smart grid.

Customer Value
Specifically designed to meet customers’ customized requirements for specialized application scenarios. Suitable for substation environments with voltage levels of 110 kV and below. Widely applicable across diverse applications in large industrial and mining enterprises, including power, transportation, railways, petrochemicals, metallurgy, and coal mining. Fundamentally resolves the “bottleneck” issue concerning core chips for secondary equipment in power grids, comprehensively supporting the operational needs of substation “unattended operation plus centralized monitoring.”

Intelligent Operations and Maintenance
Main Functions
| ● Utilizes highly integrated intelligent component equipment to implement functions such as protection, measurement and control, and metering within the bay. | ● Supports three time synchronization methods: IRIG-B coded time synchronization, SNTP/NTP network time synchronization, and IEC 61588 protocol time synchronization. |
| ● When fiber-optic point-to-point transmission is used, interpolation-based resampling synchronization is supported; when SV is transmitted over a network, timestamp-based synchronization is employed. | ● Comprehensive online monitoring of the secondary system, enabling thorough collection, analysis, and centralized visual presentation of operational and anomaly information across all links, including IED devices, communication networks, and input/output interfaces. |
| ●Implement substation-level protection, automatic backup power switching and interlocking, voltage and reactive power regulation, fault line selection for small-current grounding systems, as well as fault isolation and location. | ● Equipped with advanced application functions such as sequential control, topology-based intelligent five-protection, intelligent alarm notification, and source-end maintenance. |
| ● Equipped with station-wide message recording and analysis, as well as fault waveform recording, enabling advanced applications such as network message logging, analysis, and rapid fault diagnosis. | ● Supports multiple networking modes, allowing users to choose between single-network, dual-network, or ring-network topologies. |
| ● Supports “online procurement with direct tripping,” “online procurement with network-based tripping,” and “direct procurement with direct tripping” tripping modes. |
