Contract Signing for Electromechanical Equipment
Supply and Installation
On March 19, 2025, Chongqing New Century Electrical Co., Ltd. and China Energy Engineering Group Guangxi Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Guangxi Institute”) officially signed a contract for electromechanical equipment supply and installation of Malaysia Perak Pelus&Yum 24.5MW hydropower plant EPC project in Chongqing. Mr. Xie Qing, General Manager of Chongqing New Century Electrical Co., Ltd., and Mr. Pang Tao, Deputy General Manager of Guangxi Institute signed the contract, with key leaders from Chongqing Water Turbine Works Co., Ltd. in attendance at the signing ceremony.
This cooperation is not only a complementary advantage for our company and the Guangxi Institute, but also a significant breakthrough in the mode of cooperation in participating in overseas hydropower projects. It effectively merges the strong overseas market influence and EPC capability of the Guangxi Institute with our extensive overseas experience in the integration of electromechanical equipment system for small and medium hydropower plantsplants, thereby creating a comprehensive competitive edge. This partnership is poised to become a model for collaboration between central and private enterprises, “Work together, develop together”. Both parties will leverage this collaboration as an opportunity to further strengthen their strategic partnership, jointly explore the hydropower markets in Southeast Asia and globally, and promote the implementation of additional clean energy projects.
Malaysia Perak Pelus&Yum 24.5MW hydropower plant EPC project is a key project of the Perak state government aimed at enhancing the energy structure. The successful signing of contract opens up broader international market opportunities for our company. We will use this collaboration as a foundation to further penetrate the overseas market, promote the execution of additional high-quality projects, and significantly contribute to the optimization of the global energy structure and sustainable development.
