Factory Acceptance of Pakistan's LAWI Hydropower Project Successfully Completed
From July 8 to 10, the Pakistan Lawi Hydropower plant, undertaken by Chongqing New Century Electrical Co., Ltd., achieved significant progress. A team from Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization and the supervising engineers (referred to as "the Employer") visited Chongqing and Wuhan to conduct factory acceptance inspections on the second-phase embedded parts of the turbine and the sand flushing valves respectively.
The project adopts three impulse units with each capacity of 23MW. Our company is responsible for the entire process, including the supply, transportation, installation, commissioning, and handover of indoor and outdoor complete electro-mechanical equipment, as well as hydraulic metal structure equipment and materials.
During this inspection, the Employer conducted a comprehensive review of the quality inspection documents in accordance with international standards and contract specifications. They tested the dimensional assembly accuracy, painting technology, and welding quality of the embedded parts, and inspected the smoothness of the valve opening and closing actions and the sealing performance. All technical indicators were confirmed to meet the design specifications.
The successful completion of this factory acceptance has laid a solid foundation for the subsequent installation, commissioning, and on-schedule operation of the equipment.
