Two Units of Koto Hydropower Plant in Pakistan Successfully Connected to the Grid
On July 23, 2025, a piece of good news comes from Koto Hydropower Plant– Unit 1 and Unit 3 successfully completed grid connection.
This hydropower plant is a key energy construction project of the Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization, with the total installed capacity of 3×13.6MW. Chongqing New Century Electric Co., Ltd. is responsible for the supply, transportation, installation, commissioning, trial operation, and other related works of indoor and outdoor complete electromechanical equipment as well as hydraulic metal structures.
The grid connection of these units not only marks a crucial step forward in the project construction, but also lays a solid foundation for the following unit commissioning and the overall completion of the project.
